Auto shipping apply to cart

If you want to automatically apply shipping to your cart use the extension Auto Shipping Pro.

Download at http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/auto-shipping-pro.html

I recently used this extension and it works great! You can easily tweak the listing to fit your template.

This Widget for Magento uses data stored in your Magento store’s database to dynamically generate a list of best selling products that are currently visible in your store.

This list is ordered by number of products sold descending. Being a Widget this extension requires no coding to implement as you can add it to a CMS page using the Magento Admin Page’s User Interface.

The HTML generated by the Widget matches Magento’s native product grid/list HTML to maximise the likelihood of the Widget working ‘out of the box’.

By re-using the native Mageeto product grid/list code also means the Widget fully supports internationalization/localisation.

This Widget also makes use of Magento caching to prevent unnecessary load on your database.

Login Only Catalog

This small extension requires a customer to be logged in order to view products or product collections. If the customer navigates to a page that contains a product or a product collection, she will be redirected to the account login page. Alternatively the customer can be redirected to a configurable CMS page.

You can disable the module on a global, website or store level, and also choose to hide the category navigation in the configuration.

This Module was designed to work with the Module Netzarbeiter_CustomerActivation, which only allows customers to log in after they have been activated in the adminhtml interface. There also is theNetzarbeiter_GroupsCatalog2 extension which allows you to hide Categories and/or groups depending on the customers groups. Installing this extension together with the Customer Groups Catalog Extension will probably make no sense, so you have to decide what suits your needs better.

Installation Instructions

  1. Download the extension and copy all the files into your document root.
  2. Clear the cache, logout from the admin panel and then login again.
  3. Configure and activate the extension under System – Configuration – Catalog – Login only catalog

Customer Activation

This small extension makes it impossible for a customer to log in to magento, until the account has been activated in the adminhtml interface.

Customers – Manage Customers – (select customer) – Account Information – Is activated

You can also select email notifications for the admin (when a new customer registers) and for the customer (when her account has been activated).

New customers can be configured to be activated by default. This can also be done on a per group basis.

The Extension was designed to be used together with the Netzarbeiter_LoginCatalog extension. Netzarbeiter_LoginCatalog only shows products to customers that are logged in. There also is the Extension Netzarbeiter_GroupsCatalog2 which may suit your needs better, you have to evaluate yourself what is the best solution for your case.

Installation Instructions

  1. Download the extension and copy all the files into your document root.
  2. Clear the cache, logout from the admin panel and then login again.
  3. Configure and activate the extension under System – Configuration – Customer Configuration – Customer Activation

If you have existing customers prior to installing the extension, they will be deactivated by default.
You can easily and quickly activate all existing accounts using the mass action found above the customer backend grid.

Uninstallation Instructions

  1. Delete the file app/etc/modules/Netzarbeiter_CustomerActivation.xml
  2. Execute the following SQL:
   DELETE FROM eav_attribute WHERE attribute_code = 'customer_activated';
   DELETE FROM core_resource WHERE code = 'customeractivation_setup';
  1. Remove all remaining extension files
    • app/code/community/Netzarbeiter/CustomerActivation/
    • app/locale/*/Netzarbeiter_CustomerActivation.csv
    • app/locale/*/template/email/netzarbeiter/customeractivation
